Let me tell you a bit about Legend

I’m lucky enough to have visited the Maahra in Kenya a couple of times and the camp that I stay at, Offbeat Maura is situated very near a pride of lines which bears its name the Offbeat pride. The Offbeat pride has been quite dominant in that area for sometime and has four beautiful males to its name and one of them is the inspiration for legend. Legend has been made into a print by my publishers and is available from my usual stockist but if you want the one and only original oil painting it’s sitting right here on my website. You might have seen some of my previous lion prints  which have often been bold dramatic and very colourful,  Legend is different;  made of creamy neutral tones some beautiful warm browns and umbers  and a hint of blue just to lighten  him. I could really imagine this in a luxurious creamy neutral lounge or even the centrepiece to the most incredible dining room. You don’t have to have been to Africa to absolutely love the look of this lion!
