Lilac breasted roller

IF you’re lucky enough to go on safari in Kenya you’ll see the impossibly beautiful Lilac crested roller. The incredible turquoises, magnets, yellows and oranges don’t seem possible all on one lilttle bird. They’re great!

I often let the natural linen on the canvas show through on my paintings however this Lilac breasted roller  is on a lovely pale sky blue background. I looked at the little fella for ages, sitting on the tiniest twig of a branch,  the cloudless sky in the background.

This lovely LBR,  is such a unique piece and and will bring you joy every time you look at him.

This painting comes unframed with D rings and hanging cord are attached ready to hang.
