Having admired Louise’s work for some time, we decided to commission a piece from her to celebrate our twentieth wedding anniversary. Having never commissioned an artwork before, we were a little nervous about the whole process, but Louise was fantastic at making us feel comfortable and at ease at all times. On visiting her lovely studio (wow – what a view!), Louise was wonderfully welcoming and very accommodating in discussing our needs and helping us to reach a decision on the subject, size and colours we required. We were particularly impressed by the time Louise took to ensure we were satisfied and by her genuine warmth and interest in us. We are now so thrilled with the piece Louise produced for us, which is proudly hanging in our lounge, and many of our friends and family are keen to purchase one of Louise’s work on the strength of that alone! Thank you Louise for a fantastic experience culminating in a beautiful piece of art. I have already recommended Louise Luton to everyone I know!

We had decided to get ourselves a painting by Lou and had a look on the website for ideas as to what we wanted. With a painting in mind, but not being totally certain, we arranged to visit Lou’s studio in Salisbury. Lou was most welcoming and helped us narrow down our choices once we decided where we wanted the painting to go.  Her studio is a lovely place and it was really relaxing and  helped us feel unrushed to make our choice. Interestingly, the shortlist didn’t  include our original selection from the website! We ended up picking a lovely scene of the beach as seen through sand dunes which is perfect in our lounge. We are both really happy with our painting and will treasure it for many years and certainly be back for another at some point.

Louise’s workshops were a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dark dank November. I loved every minute
