Courage. Lion Painting
painting size 40×40cm - framed size 49cm x49cm
Oil painting on linen panel, ready framed in a White St Ives style frame
I have recently added to my small framed collection with a series of medium sized pieces. This was the perfect way to begin the medium sized series, I have done little lion cubs before and big (sometimes very big) lions. If you’ve been waiting for something in between you’re in luck with this beautiful lion called Courage. Inspired by real encounters with Lions on the Masai Mara
I love working in layers, and my oils paints look so beautiful alongside the natural linen backcourt. My unique approach to animal painting, marked by a playful and whimsical touch, adds depth and character to the piece.
A great way to start your collection, or to treat yourself to something special, even if you’ve run out of wall space.
The original painting comes framed in a st Ives style frame handmade by Foster and Walker with D rings and hanging cord attached ready to hang. Oil paintings are framed without glass; you can see the beautiful linen background and every brushstroke.
Postage and packing to the UK is included in the price. Please select Free shipping at the checkout.
