An original painting is a unique artwork, created in oils on linen, with all the depth, brushstrokes, and texture that come from working directly on canvas. Prints are high-quality reproductions of my paintings, professionally produced and framed by my publisher Artko. Prints are a more affordable way to enjoy my work, while originals remain one-of-a-kind collector’s pieces.

No, I”m sorry about that. All of my prints are created and framed exclusively by my publisher, Artko, who distribute them to selected galleries and retailers across the UK. They keep cost low by adding specific frames to particular pieces, rather than offering all frames adn all sizes which would be much more costly. From time to time, I may list a small number of prints here on my website, but my main focus is always on creating original oil paintings.

Firstly, it might not have been made into a print at all. So if you've seen an oil painting right here on my website and you do a simple Google search for that painting's name and my name and it doesn't come up anywhere it means it was never made into a print. However, if you see a painting on my site but you haven't seen the print on the prints page that doesn't mean it doesn't exist anywhere. There is a link on my print page to one of my most reliable stockists, which is The Artists’ Quarter. They have the widest range of my print work out of all the retailers and you're highly likely to be able to get what you're looking for there. If they haven't got it, chances are no one has!

No. My prices are always consistent, whether you buy directly from me or through a gallery. Galleries earn a commission for providing a physical space and face-to-face connection with customers, which allows me to dedicate more time to my artwork.

I primarily paint in oils on linen, which allows me to create vibrant colours, depth, and texture. I love oils and their slower drying time gives me the freedom to layer paint and build movement into my wildlife subjects. I love the linen background as it give my vibrant colours space to breathe. The linen canvas looks great unframed. However you can frame my works after you have bought them if you choose to. It’s personal choice. Oils are not framed under glass, so the cost of framing is relatively low.

Yes. My larger original paintings are created in oils, I also sketch extensively in watercolour when I travel. My sketchbooks are an important part of my process, helping me capture ideas and inspiration on location that often evolve into larger oil paintings.
