This little lion cub was such a character. Sometimes you just get a magic moment on safari. This little cub was playing with his siblings and decided to climb up a branch. He got himself a bit stuck, at first he just stayed there, then after a while become a bit fed up, and lastly plopped off onto the long grass. With only his ego bruised, he trotted off to rejoin the pride and play with his brothers and sisters.
There’s a lovely softness to this piece – the warm light, that cheeky expression, and the sense of a story unfolding. A little glimpse into the quiet, playful side of the wild.
