This gorgeous donkey surrounded by poppies and grass is such a beautiful version of some of the donkeys that I regularly see on visits to the new forest. Regular visitors the new forest will know that the donkeys roam around at their leisure particularly around the High Street in Brockenhurst where they sometimes try to poke their nose in to a shop. They're just such fun creatures and they make me smile all the time. This version of Pope is so named because she has puppies around her introducing the pretty flowers that we see in the fields at certain times of year. Poppy the donkey will absolutely make you smile every time you look at her just as the donkeys in the New Forest make me smile every time I visit.
