This turtle is so named, after a stay on Diani beach in Kenya, it was post-safari and when we walked along the beach we saw a little area of the beach cordoned off and being watched - why? because there were turtle eggs about to hatch any day! When I came home I knew I had to paint some turtles in addition to my gorgeous safari animals.
I love creating these one-of-a-kind “double square” oil paintings on Linen Canvas.
Double square is simply the term for a canvas twice as long as it is wide.
