This one, whilst reminiscent of many beautiful coastal places around the UK, is inspired by times on the beach in Dorset. on the pathway above the beach where we played as kids, wasa digthful array of wild flowers and grasses. I thought the view peek through the foliage must have been the most beautiful in the world, with flowers in the foreground a sea and the headland in the distance.
I think of the myriad of people who have walked that path, where despite the myriad of folks who might be heading to the beach later that day, felt the whole place was theirs for a moment before everyone else arrives, hence the title “where the days were ours”
