Unbreakable bond
Lioness and her cub
80×80cm
Oil painting on wide edged linen canvas
Followers of my work will know that all of my lions are inspired by real encounters on the Masai Mara and this lioness and her cub are no exception.
This painting explores the unbreakable bond of a lioness and her cub - this little cub nuzzled into its Mum while she carefully watched and surveyed the middle distance looking for any danger that might before her family. She was one of the matriarch lionesses in the Offbeat pride and it was a joy to watch her look after, not only her own cubs, but the whole pride. What a lady!
Unbreakable bond is so named because when you see how the lionesses protect their young you realise there really is an extraordinary bond with these beautiful animals.
The original painting comes unframed with D rings and hanging cord attached ready to hang. Postage and packing to the UK is included in the price. Please select Free shipping at the checkout.
